Project Overview:
Spectra was responsible for providing offsite infrastructure for a new residential development in Hounslow. The project included installing essential utilities, working with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to strict technical and planning standards to support the development’s successful occupancy.
Approach & Delivery:
Our team installed twin high-voltage cables crossing a canal, navigating complex engineering and access issues through meticulous planning and expert techniques. We secured full Section 278 technical approval and performed PAS 128 utility surveys to ensure precise service mapping and reduce excavation risks. Spectra coordinated comprehensive stakeholder engagement throughout the project, collaborating with the local highways authority, emergency services, the Canal & River Trust, and nearby developers. This teamwork ensured safe operations, effective communication, and seamless progress of all offsite activities.
Outcome:
The project was finished safely, on schedule within four weeks, and satisfied all stakeholders. The successful installation and approvals allowed the development to fulfil its planning conditions, enabling timely occupation and the continuation of related works.
