Analyst carrying out accredited air monitoring

Accreditations, licences, and certifications

Audited, licensed, and independently checked

As a licensed contractor we are subject to unannounced audits from the HSE and from our trade association, and the expectation is that we are right every time. Accreditation is not a badge on a report cover. It forces a proper training and induction regime, a documented quality system, and an outside body checking that we work the way we say we do.

Every current certificate is published below. If you need a specific schedule of accreditation, a scope confirmation, or a copy for your own compliance file, ask and we will send it the same day.

How to check an accreditation mark

A UKAS badge on a report cover does not always belong to the company that did the work. It is worth two minutes of checking, on us or on anyone else.

Check whose mark it is

Sometimes the mark on the front is the accreditation of the bulk laboratory the samples went to, which is a completely different company from the one that carried out the survey.

Search the UKAS register

Put the company name into the UKAS search and it returns their schedule of accreditation, and exactly what they are accredited for. If you still have doubts, call and speak to their quality manager.

Ask for comparable work

Ask for a previous report of the same type as yours and check it has drawings, an executive summary, and caveats you both agree up front. That comparison tells you more than any sales pitch.
